LS-7. Zwischen Licht und Schatten – Kapelle der Kontemplation

🇩🇪 Wie eine Seitenkapelle in einer Kathedrale erhebt sich dieses Werk, still und zugleich erhaben. Im oberen Triptychon offenbart sich das Göttliche: der Stern der Offenbarung als Ursprung, Christus als Friedensbringer, Michael als Hüter des Lichts. Darunter ruht das Fundament der Menschheit – Allegorie, Sturm, innere Flamme, ewige Balance. Es ist ein Ort der Entscheidung: hier wird die Wahl sichtbar, ob wir Dunkelheit und Lethargie nähren oder das Lichtvolle in unser Leben ziehen.

Eine barocke Altartafel der Gegenwart. Wie Rubens Engel und Friedrich Landschaften erhob, so öffnet sich hier ein Raum der Kontemplation – die Wahl zwischen Licht und Schatten – zeitlos, aktuell, unvermeidbar.

🇬🇧 Like a side chapel within a cathedral, this work rises, silent yet exalted. In the upper triptych the divine reveals itself: the Star of Revelation as origin, Christ as bringer of peace, Michael as guardian of light. Beneath rests the foundation of humanity – allegory, storm, inner flame, eternal balance. It is a place of decision: here the choice becomes visible, whether we nourish darkness and lethargy or draw the luminous into our lives.

A baroque altarpiece for our time. As Rubens painted angels and Friedrich elevated landscapes, so here opens a space of contemplation – the choice between light and shadow – timeless, present, unavoidable.
